Summary

Accredited by the Association for Project Management (APM), this is a recognised knowledge-based qualification that enables you to understand the breadth of skills required to successfully manage a project undertaking.

The syllabus is based on the APM Body of Knowledge, which encompasses all areas of project management including strategic and commercial considerations, together with the technical, organisational and people management skills required to participate effectively in project management.

The course is equivalent to a five-day classroom workshop and takes between 27-30 hours to complete. It combines multiple voices, animation and interactive exercises, providing training at a time, pace and location to suit your individual requirements.

Who should attend?

The course is designed for individuals from both the public and private sector. It is for people working in the management of projects, ranging from individual assignments through to those working on large capital or change projects. It is recommend that you have a minimum of two years relevant practical experience of project management.

How will I benefit?

The syllabus is based on the APM Body of Knowledge, which means after completion you will have developed your skills in all areas of project management including strategic and commercial considerations, together with the technical, organisational and people management skills required to participate effectively in project management.

About the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) - Online

If purchasing the exam, it can be taken online in your office or home you will need a computer with a camera and microphone. The exam is 3 hours long and you are required to answer 10 out of 16 questions, gaining a mark of 55% or above to pass. You must complete the exam within 12 months of purchasing the eLearning.

Option 1 – eLearning and online exam

This option includes six months of access to the eLearning and a voucher to sit the exam.
