FOUNDATION FUNDING

Support Network not only helps individual IMechE members and their family but also provides funding to other organisations which can help us to fulfil our wider objectives of using mechanical engineering for social purposes, both in the UK and internationally.

Our three main areas of interest are:
  • Utilising mechanical engineering in international development
  • Supporting engineering innovation, especially in social contexts
  • Enabling access to, and increasing diversity of those in STEM education and careers
We use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as an additional framework to this aspect of our mission.
