Summary

In this programme we provide a broad multi-disciplinary grounding in risk identification, assessment and management and the links with disaster recovery and business continuity.

Risks to companies are no longer limited to just those that are created by competitors or the odd natural disaster, but from all aspects of the internal and external working environment, including such considerations as cyberspace crime and terrorism.

Operational risk management has to take account of these new and growing areas of risk management, and this course will provide a grounding in Risk Identification, Assessment and Management and how it leads to and links with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.

This broad approach will give delegates basic operational risk management skills that will be applicable for engineers working across a wide swathe of activities and fields of endeavour.

This module is available to support delegates working towards the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.
