We are on a trip out of town. Our car got an issue. We took it to the nearest Official Ford service center (Marlow Ford) . They ran an official diagnostic and told to replace a specific part.Unfortunately they didn't had it on stock. They gave us the specific part number and diagnostic report and asked as to contact the next nearest Ford service centre (Ted Britt Ford, Chantilly).So we drove to Ted Britt and showed them the report and part number. We asked them to replace the part so that we can continue our trip. To this they replied, "we have to do diagnostic again because we don't trust other Ford dealership ".Keep in mind we had paid $115 for the diagnosis alone in the other place. So we asked them why they need to do it again and can't you just replace the part. To which the person replied "it's like cancer. Just because one doctor told you it's better to check with another doctor again". We had enough by now and told her it is never like cancer and don't give examples like that to anyone.Then she checked with her colleague who said they can replace the part without diagnosis but won't take any responsibility after that. They said it would be 300 dollars total. Part alone is $92. At this point we lost our trust with the price and their service. And we left thinking we will take our chances.. Our advice to anybody on an emergency is to not drop by this place (Ted Britt Ford) because all you get is free medical advice. Marlow Ford on the other hand is a terrific place with a great staff.Take your chances there.

After purchasing my vehicle from Ted Britt Ford Chantilly in June of 2013. I didn't anticipate having to be in the market for a new one, not even 5 years later. I began experiencing issues with my 2013 Ford Escape in April. Without warning, my car started shifting out of gear and would not accelerate above 20mph. Given the issues we were experiencing we fully anticipated it to be an issue with the transmission. When researching the problems we were experiencing, we came to find out thousands of others who owned this year and model had problems with the transmission or engine. We had it towed to the Chantilly location for them to diagnose my car. I was called 3-4 days after taking my car to the dealership. The service writer I spoke with called and confirmed it was the transmission and he was going to "work the numbers" and call me back in 15-20 minutes with a quote on repairs. He quoted me a figure of around $6700 which he stated included all repairs plus labor. I laughed. I asked him to have someone give me a call to give me a figure on what they'd offer me for my car as is, without completing the repairs. Just another reason to laugh. $2000 is what they offered me. Keep in mind my car was in immaculate condition with the exception of the issue with the transmission. Not to mention I still owed $6,000 on the car. When I paid for the diagnostic fee, I received the invoice via email with the quote which was over $2,000 more than what I was quoted on the phone. $9048.28. So what if I had authorized the repairs when he called to give me the quote? They were going to try to charge me an additional two grand when I picked up the car? Get out of here. I fully suspect they were simply trying to take advantage of a woman, who they thought didn't know any better and make a profit off of my poor decision to invest money into a Ford. Company is seriously lacking in a quality product. Take your business elsewhere and avoid their untrustworthy service department.

My vehicle needed scheduled maintenance and after some checks, needed rear brakes - I took it to Ted Britt in Chantilly. This was the third Ford dealership in the area that I tried. Needless to say I was dissatisfied with the other two. After receiving exceptional service from Service Advisor Mike Brech, I knew I had made the right choice. Scheduled maintenance was completed and so were the brakes - both completed in a reasonable amount of time and with a coupon, at a reasonable price. Mike and co-service advisor Trina were both professional and personable, demonstrating concern for my vehicle status and me as a new customer. I really appreciated that and will be back for service and maintenance needs - thanks for their care and concern.

When looking for my 2015 F-250, I was introduced to Lila. She handled my sale. I set up an appointment to see the truck. She met me at the door and had the truck ready for me to test drive it. She was awesome and helped me all the way through. She is very professional and knowledgeable about the products she sells. I was treated very nicely by her as well as all the staff. The purchasing experience was very good and no one was pushy as I have experienced in other dealerships. They treat you like family. I would very much recommend this dealer to all and I have to both my son and a friend who also made purchases and Lila took good care of them. Thank you. In addition, the service department is top notch. I have all my service on my F-250 completed there and it is always done in a timely and professional manner.

Service Center is OK, Toyota Better but the people seem great. The area you wait for service is not amenable to numerous people stacked up and that is an issue. Their process to check in seems really long and drawn out I'm comparing to years of excellent Toyota service which was fast, easy, get a loaner quick. But the people here are really nice and seem dedicated to helping
