Excellent performance is recognised every year amongst students at the No1 School of Technical Training at RAF Cosford and the No 4 School of Technical Training at MOD St Athan. The awards for Top Student at each training establishment were inaugurated in 2016 and cement a strong relationship between the RAF and the IMechE.
This award recognises outstanding academic performance throughout training and is made to the student who achieves the top marks for the year. The winner receives a certificate and cheque for £250. Their name is also engraved on a permanent trophy which is displayed at RAF Cosford.
